How to place Adsense Ads on your page - Earn more with Google Adsense [Part 2]

In the previous post above we discussed about the various types of google Adsense ads you can use on your website / blog.

 Okay so now once you have read the above post I guess we are now ready to discuss about the ads placement on your web page. 
There's a restriction on the number of ads you can place on a single web page. Obviously these restrictions are put by Google in order to ensure quality of the webpage and to avoid unnecessary spamming.

How many ads can you use?
  1. 3 Display/Text Ad units : If you look at this blog you can see I use in all 3 banner ads One above the title of the post , one in the sidebar and one inside the post!   The most important thing to improve you earning is to place at least 1 Ad somewhere in between your posts. What happens here is while your users are reading the posts they will actually look at the ad as it is between the text they are reading. Naturally, it is more likely if the ad is relevant it might get clicked.

  2. 3 Link units : Most bloggers don't know that in addition to the above three ads you can use other 3 link units on the same page. It adds greatly to your earnings if the keywords that show up are relevant.

  3. Custom Search Engine Ads : This is ads do add up to your earnings but I am a bit skeptical about it as users generally don't use the search on relatively small blogs. This is mainly important for people who have a large active readership o their blog/website. 

Thus, in addition to the custom search engine ads you can add a total of 6 Google Adsense ads on a single webpage or each page of your website. Sound's cool ?

My new Google Nexus 7 2013 4G/LTE Model - Quick Review

The Google Nexus 7 2013 which I had reviewed earlier when it launched early in 2013 , I finally own it !

I would just say this : "Its a Great Buy ! The HD screen is just too good and your 1080p movies look Awesome. Though I am not a fan of its Secondary camera because the picture is too grainy and noisy but that's the only thing I didn't like about it . Otherwise, the tablet's really convenient to hold in the hand whether you are gaming or reading . High Graphic Games like Real Racing 3 and  apps like Flipboard just makes you want to use them more and more as the fonts , even the smallest readable size is Super SHARP ! No Lag at all in any case till now . All this just makes it one of the Best Tablets in the Market . "

New Nexus 7 2nd Generation Unboxing and Review

The new Nexus 7 is still manufactured by Asus for Google and the improvements in specifications are quite impressive. To start with, the 7-inch display now has a 1920x1200 pixel resolution giving it a pixel density of 323ppi. The device comes in 16GB and 32GB storage variants but sadly there is no storage expansion option available. The Nexus 7 now has a 5MP rear facing camera and a 1.2MP front facing camera for hangouts.
Under the hood, the Nexus 7 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core 1.5 GHz Krait processor, coupled with Adreno 320 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The battery capacity of the tablet hasn’t been revealed but Google claims 9 hours of HD video playback and 10 hours of web browsing on the tablet. The new Nexus 7 runs on the latest Android 4.3 Jelly Bean straight out-of-the-box. If you are one who enjoys gaming on your tablet, then you are in luck as the device supports OpenGL ES 3.0.

Google Moto X Phone Leaked Features and Demo by Roger Labs

It appears that someone's got their hands on Rogers' upcoming commercial for the new Google Moto X smartphone from Motorola. This leaked commercial reveals that users can begin interacting with their phone just by saying, "OK Google Now," without touching the phone at all. The camera can also be activated simply by flicking the wrist twice. The Rogers commercial was originally leaked on Google+. It's only a matter of time before the video is taken down.

The voice-command to activate the surface is similar to that used with Google Glass. Users of the wearable tech activate Google Now by saying ‘OK Glass’. Siri offers a similar service, but requires users to tap the homes screen button to activate it.
Other features of the upcoming Moto X include ‘active updates’, a new system of personalised notifications (“Instead of a blinking light that doesn’t actually tell you anything, information quietly appears on the screen”), and a gesture-based camera interface:
“Moto X can also launch the camera in a flash – no need to press a button or slide an icon, just twist your wrist twice and it’s ready to shoot.”
Although no hardware specifications have yet been released Motorola have promised that the handset will compete with flagship products from Apple and Samsung.
In the first official advertisement for the Moto X that ran at the beginning of this month, Motorola played up the fact that the phone will be largely assembled in the US – an implicit attack against Apple, who manufacturer their devices in China – whilst promising that the handset would be “designed by you”.

Dragon is given access to much more information and different parts of the operating system. This means it can replace the Google Now search option if the user prefers Dragon over the baked-in Android option. It’s a big goal, trying to overtake Google’s own voice recognition product.

Facebook Home Now Live On Google Play, A Free App For HTC One X And X+, Samsung Galaxy S III and Note II

Facebook Home, the new Android-based launcher that puts the social network and its messaging, photo and other services front and center on a user’s mobile device, is now available for download on Google Play for a limited selection of Android devices: HTC One X, HTC One X+, Samsung Galaxy S III and Samsung Galaxy Note II. This comes after earlier today Facebook updated its Facebook Messenger Android app with Chat Heads functionality, as well as its basic Android app with Facebook Home support.
Facebook debuted Home earlier this month. At the time it announced that it would be available on Google Play from today.

Access Netflix , Hulu , Pandora , Rdio outside USA from anywhere in the world with MediaHint extension

I found this utility just a few days back when I wanted to use the pandora internet radio service but was unable as it is only available in the United States. and everytime and everything i tried i couldn't use the service same was the case with Netflix and Hulu. 

Though there are various options to use the VPN stuff and all but still I didn't want to use that because we have to setup the VPN , Streaming through it is damn slow ! 

And just then I found this browser extension called MediaHint . 

This extension is available only for Google Chrome  and Mozilla Firefox . 

Since I'm based in India i wasn;t able to access Pandora, Netflix , Hulu etc . which said "we are currently not available in your country yet ! " . 
So I just downloaded and installed this Simple extension in Google Chrome . I was skeptical but then I quickly visited Pandora.com and I was like , " COOL ! " . 

Though i don't use Netflix or Hulu yet but those sites did allow me to signup now . :)
